Flying to the Mediterranean to travel from Egypt around to Morocco... arriving in Cairo (Egypt), via Singapore and Dubai... traveling to/through; Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Hurghada, Suez, Sharm al-Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweibaa (Egypt), Aqaba, Petra, Amman, Jerash (Jordan), Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa (Israel), Amman,(Jordan), Damascus, Palmyra, Tartus, Homs‎, Hamah, Aleppo (Syria), Antioch, Adana, Kas, Nevsehir, Göreme, Pamukkale, Selçuk, Çanakkale, Istanbul (Turkey), Thessaloníki, Athens (Greece), Brindisi, Naples, Rome, Florence, Milan (Italy), (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Paris (France), Barcelona, Alicante, Granada, Córdoba, Algeciras, Sevilla (Spain), (Gibraltar) Faro, Lagos, Monchique, Evora, Lisbon, Sintra, Lisbon (Portugal) Madrid (Spain) and back home via Bangkok, Ko Phangan (Thailand)... (I was unable to visit Lebanon, Crete and Morocco).

The ancient 3000 year old Assyrian site, Palmyra, Syrian Desert, Syria.

Norias of Hamah

One of the 17 remaining Norias or waterwheels, that traditionally channeled water for agricultural proposes, Hamah, Orontes Valley, Syria.

Winter Fairy Land

Fairy Mountains, 'Goreme National Park', Cappadocia, Central Anatolia, Turkey.

The Winner!

A champion camel, wearing the winner's carpet, after a successful 'camel wrestling' tournament, Selcuk, Aegean Turkey, Turkey.

Gallipoli

ANZAC Cove is the infamous site, of the battle between the Turkish and Allied troops in 1915, and one which is commemorated yearly, near Canakkale, Marmara, Turkey.

Lykavittos Hill

Rising from the upmarket suburb of Kolonaki, is the spectacular Lykavittos Hill, Athens, Greece.

Flavian Amphitheatre

Ruins of the 'Flavian Amphitheatre', aka 'The Colosseum', Rome, Italy.

On the Canal

One of the many canals, in the unique canal-belt, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Notre Dame

The magnificent Gothic architecture, of Notre Dame, Paris, France.

Glorious Granada

The multi-cultural streets, from the amazing Alhambra, Granada, Andalusia, Spain.

Skyfall

On top of 'The Rock', in the British territory, ceded in the 16th century, Gibraltar.

Cliff Fishing

Fishing the 100m cliffs, at Portugal's western-most point, near Lagos, Portugal.

Gruesome Grotto

The gruesome Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones), in the 'Igreja de Sao Francisco', Evora, Portugal.

Beautiful mosaic stone pathways, or 'Calçada Portuguesa', of one the city's main historical boulevard's, Lisbon, Portugal.
