Travelled to Japan/South Korea... arriving from Kuala Lumpur, then travelled to/through; Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Karatsu, Nagasaki, Shimabarra, Beppu, Fukuoka (Japan), Busan, Daegu, Seoul (South Korea), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Surabya, Sumenp (Indonesia) and back home via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dotombori Streets
The alleys and laneways of Dotombori are some of the liveliest in Osaka, very reminiscent of those in the movie 'Bladerunner', and which come alive after night-fall, a must for any visitor to Japan to experience!
Fushimi-Inari Taisha
The famous 'red torii' path-way of the Fushimi-Inari Taisha shrine of Kyoto, Japan.
A-Bomb Dome
The chilling memorial of the destructive power of war on the people of Hiroshima, Japan.
Yatai Stall
One of the hundreds of popular 'Yatai stalls' that come out each evening to sell a variety of foods on the streets of Fukuoka, Japan.
Porcelain Bridge
An exquisite porcelain tile clad bridge in the artisan village of Okaewichi-yama, Japan.
Limited Express
The ubiquitous Japanese train shot, in fact it's the 'Limited Express', my 'weapon of choice' when it comes to transport here in Japan, Nagasaki, Japan.
Woori Nara Gogigui
While this may not be Gangnam-style, Korean Gogigui (BBQ meats cooked at your table) is one of my all time favourites, usually served with lettuce, kimchi and an assortment of sauces, washed down with cold Soju, good enough to put a smile on anyones face! Seoul, South Korea.
